Crime: Woman suffers severe injuries during reported assault in Canterbury

A woman suffered severe injuries to her hip after she was assaulted by a man whilst trying to break up an altercation in the street.
 





The incident is reported to have taken place on Saturday 11 February 2017 between 3am and 3.30am on the corner of Guildhall Street and High Street,

A 20-year-old man from Cardiff was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on police bail until Friday 24 March 2017 pending further enquiries.

A 23-year-old man arrested at the scene was released without charge.
