Tango! brings the curtain down on the spring series of lunchtime concerts in the Colyer-Fergusson Hall of the University of Kent in Canterbury.
Tango! takes place on Wednesday 29 March and presents Lydia Cheng (violin), Faith Chan (cello) and Daniel Harding (piano) exploring this sensuous South American ballroom dance.
The set includes Piazzolla’s colourful Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, featuring two university music scholars and the Deputy Director of Music. The trio promises a simmering programme bursting with passion and swirling drama so if you know how to tango, bring your dancing shoes!
The lunchtime concert, sponsored by Furley Page Solicitors, starts at 1.10pm and admission is free, with a suggested donation of £3. For more information, visit www.kent.ac.uk/music
