Two people have been arrested after Kent Police received a report stating two bikes had been stolen in Gravesend.

The report was received at around 11pm on Sunday 19 March and stated the motorbikes had been stolen in Old Road West.

These were located, abandoned, in the London Road area about 15 minutes later.

Officers searched the area and two 17-year-old boys, from Dartford and Sidcup, were arrested nearby on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle.

They both remain in custody while enquiries continue.
