Crime: Police hunt after motorist punched in reported 'road rage' assault in Ashford

Police investigating an assault on a motorist in Ashford are appealing for information from the public on the whereabouts of a vehicle used by the suspect.

 


The incident happened at 4pm on Wednesday 19 July 2017. A man was driving onto Romney Marsh Road heading into Ashford Town Centre when he had a disagreement with the driver of another car who cut in front of him, forcing him and all the traffic behind him to stop.

The driver of the suspect car got out, walked to the victim’s car and allegedly punched him several times.

He was driving a blue Lexus IS 200, reg no: SD02 WZW but the owner’s details are not up to date.
