Police: Helicopter search after Kent Police become increasingly concerned over missing Herne Bay man

Kent Police is growing increasingly concerned about the welfare of a 75-year-old man who has been missing for more than 24 hours.

 

 

Michael Browne, pictured left,  was last seen leaving the residential home he lives in at Beacon Hill in Herne Bay at 8.45am on Wednesday 11 October 2017.

Michael is described as white, around 6ft tall, of slim build with short grey hair and facial stubble. He was wearing grey trousers and green coat.

Inspector Julien Lawton said: 'We are very concerned for Michael, he urgently needs to take his medication. We had a reported possible sighting of him in the Reculver area at around 4.30pm yesterday and urge anyone with information to get in contact with us as soon as possible.'

There will be police officers and partner agencies involved in searching for Michael in Herne Bay and Whitstable today. The Police Helicopter is also assisting.
