Crime: Kent Police investigating reported Bethersden assault on taxi driver charge two 16-year-old girls

Kent Police officers investigating a reported assault on a taxi driver in Standard Lane, Bethersden, on Monday 10 July 2017 have arrested and charged two 16-year-old girls.

 


One girl has been charged with assaulting a man and causing criminal damage to a dash cam in Standard Lane on Monday 10 July 2017.

She has also been charged with aggravated vehicle taking in the Bethersden area earlier that day.

The second girl has been charged with assaulting a man in Standard Lane on Monday 10 July 2017.

She has also been charged with aggravated vehicle taking and driving with no insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence in the Bethersden area earlier that day. She has further been charged with the theft of a mobile phone in the Bethersden area on Sunday 9 July 2017.

The pair, who are both from the Ashford area, have been bailed to appear at Folkestone Youth Court on Tuesday 1 August 2017.
