Premature to say Folkestone Airshow will be grounded in 2015 says Monk

Open Air Promotions, the company which organised the 2014 Folkestone Airshow has gone into administration leaving the future of the Folkestone Airshow uncertain.
 



Council says Folkestone Airshow is 'not grounded yet' and Red Arrows display would continue to be sponsored

Following on from considerable press speculation as to whether the Folkestone Airshow will continue, it appears Shepway District Council would still continue their sponsorship of the Red Arrows with Folkestone Town council

Despite last weekend’s Folkestone Airshow attracting record crowds, organiser Open Air Promotions Ltd has admitted the event did not reach its revenue target, and the future of the show is being evaluated ‘very carefully’.
