Perhaps not really well known in the UK, the fantastic singer/songwriter and accomplished guitarist Jimmy Lafave sadly passed away last month.

The house jazz band from London’s famed 606 Club will open a new series of lunchtime concerts this autumn at the University of Kent in Canterbury, sponsored once again by Furley Page Solicitors.

It was bliss to be inside St Leonard’s church in Hythe on Sunday 9 July not just for a cool refuge from the blistering summer sun but also for a quite exceptional concert from The Grier Trio.
