Hawkinge to London National Express coach service to launch in April

National Express is expanding its services to London by adding a new pick-up point in Hawkinge from Monday the 3rd April, meaning passengers can hop on a coach to the capital for as little as £15.40 return.

The National Grid is alerting to people in Dover and Shepway of the movement of a very large, house-sized, piece of electricity equipment being transported from Sellindge to Dover.



Folkestone railway bridge to be closed again

Electronic notices have been posted that Cheriton Road at the rail bridge by Folkestone Central Station is to undergo further work from 0800 hrs on 11th February until 1800hrs on 18th February
