War medals and cash have been reported stolen in a burglary near Canterbury.

Between 6.45pm on Thursday 29 September 2022 and 12.30am the following morning, a property in Hoades Wood Road, Sturry was burgled.

A door was damaged and a blue box containing six war medals from the Second World War and collectors coins was taken, as well as a quantity of money.

Officers are investigating the burglary and are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious during the evening of Thursday 29 September, or has been offered the medals for sale to come forward.

They are also appealing for anyone with private CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage which might assist enquiries.
