There were plenty of honks and thumbs ups from passing vehicles, including police and ambulance workers, when protesters took to the streets outside Folkestone Civic Centre to make their voices heard over the 15% increase in allowances awarded to KCC councillors.

The Shepway Sports Trust Awards took place on Friday 14 July at the Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone with presentations to individuals, schools and clubs across all sorts of sports from running, rugby, rowing and show jumping to hip hop and baton twirling.
