Folkestone marked this year’s curtailed Remembrance Sunday ceremonies with very reduced numbers and only attending a number of events throughout the day.
Events held this year also marked the 75th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
The Mayor of Folkestone Cllr Michelle Keutenius, laid a wreath on behalf of the town early on, followed by the main Royal British Legion event around 11am and the two minutes silence with MP Damian Collins in attendance.

Later at around 3pm, a further wreath laying and two minutes silence was held by such as the Merchant Navy, with former Mayor Cllr Jackie Meade, attending alongside some others.
