Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for information following a collision in Folkestone.

At 1.08am on Friday 4 December 2020, a black Honda Civic failed to stop for officers when requested to do so in Shorncliffe Road.

The vehicle was briefly pursued before it left the road in Cherry Garden Avenue and collided with a tree.

The one person who was in the car was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. He was subsequently transferred to a London hospital.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and urge anyone with any information, including residential CCTV or dashcam footage of the car in the area, to call them on 01622 798538 or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk, quoting reference RY/MD/108/20.
