Dover and Deal MP Natalie Elphicke has hailed the work of one of Dover’s leading local businesses, the Viking Maritime and the Maritime Skills Academy.
Based in Whitfield, with training sites in Portsmouth and Gibraltar, Viking provide training for a range of maritime needs including preparing staff for emergency responses to fire or the need to evacuate on cruise ships, ferries and superyachts.
Visiting the Dover site, Natalie Elphicke MP was shown a range of training equipment for life safety and fire responders.
