The 20-year-old has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

A quantity of suspected crack cocaine, cash and a mobile phone has been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.

Acting Sergeant Richard Lorimer, of Canterbury Community Policing Team, said: ‘Kent Police is committed to disrupting and shutting down the drug dealing networks which target vulnerable people in our communities and I am pleased that, in this instance, class A drugs and criminal cash have been removed from circulation in Canterbury.
