Kent Police has reported that a man died when a light aircraft crashed in a field near Headcorn Aerodrome shortly before 4.30pm on Sunday 9 May.
Officers were sent to the scene working alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
Kent Police has confirmed the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) is investigating the incident.
