Witnesses are being urged to come forward after a woman was assaulted in Ashford.

The victim was walking along Beaver Road shortly after 7pm on Monday 24 May 2021 when she was confronted by a group of teenagers.

A boy from the group was then pushed into the woman and, when she challenged them about their behaviour, the boy punched her twice, causing facial injuries.

An investigation into the assault is ongoing and officers are urging anyone who saw what happened, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage from Beaver Road at that time, to contact them.

The boy who punched the woman is described as between 13 and 16 years old, white, around five feet, three inches tall, with brown hair which was long on top and graded at the back.

He was wearing black trainers with an orange tick on them, a red Tommy Hilfiger T-shirt and was holding a blue coat.
