Officers in Canterbury are appealing for information after rocks and other objects were thrown at vehicles in Sturry Road.

At around 8.20pm on Friday 4 June 2021, a motorist reported a group of teenagers had thrown eggs at his windscreen as he drove near the roundabout with Vauxhall Road.

At around 7pm on Wednesday 16 June 2021, two teenagers reportedly threw rocks at a bus near the Sturry Road Park and Ride, causing the windscreen to crack.

Later the same day, at around 9.30pm, another rock was thrown at a bus in the same area, causing damage to a window.

A 15-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and bailed pending further enquiries. Another 15-year-old girl has also been spoken to as part of ongoing enquiries.

Officers are urging anyone who saw the incidents or has dashcam footage to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/104008/21.
