Witnesses are being urged to come forward after five people were injured in an altercation in Canterbury.

Kent Police was called shortly after 12.30am on Friday 25 June 2021 following a report of a disturbance in The Cuban in the city’s High Street.

Officers at the scene reported that a group of men had been involved in an altercation in the bar’s outdoor area.

Five people reported injuries following assaults, two of whom required hospital treatment.

An investigation to establish the full circumstances of the incident is underway and anyone who witnessed what happened, has mobile phone footage or information that may assist enquiries is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/109661/21.
