Park and ride services at Sturry Road will resume next Monday (20 September) following a two month suspension.

The city council put the service on hold in mid-July due to ongoing low demand. Fewer than 100 vehicles were using the route a day.

The reopening has been timed to coincide with the return of the education sector, which is likely to lead to an increase in the number of people using the service.

The council is reassuring customers that the park and ride buses are subject to a very strict cleaning regime and are safe to use.
