Witnesses are being urged to come forward following a robbery in Canterbury.

At around 3.50pm on Wednesday 15 September 2021 a boy was approached by two teenagers in St George’s Street, near the subway exit next to Burgate Lane.

It is reported that the teenagers, who are described as around 18 years old, pushed the boy against a wall and stole his hooded top, glasses and body warmer, before running off.

Kent Police are investigating the incident and have since arrested an 17-year-old from Canterbury, who has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the robbery, particularly a woman who tried to speak to the victim at the time of the incident.
