A Border Force officer has appeared in court charged with supplying and offering to supply class A drugs, as part of an investigation led by the National Crime Agency’s Anti-Corruption Unit.

The 42-year-old man from Folkestone was arrested by NCA officers near his place of work in Folkestone on the afternoon of Saturday 25 January 2020.

The NCA investigation involved the alleged supply of ecstasy tablets.

The accused appeared before Folkestone Magistrates on Friday 26 November, and has been bailed pending his next court appearance at Maidstone Crown Court on 4 January 2022.
