A suspect is to appear in court today charged with multiple shoplifting offences in Maidstone.
At around 9.30am on Monday 3 January 2022, police were called to a shop in Northumberland Court, Shepway and arrested a man on suspicion of stealing crisps, pizzas and wine.
The man from Maidstone was later charged with five counts of theft in the Maidstone area between 29 December and 3 January.
The 35-year-old is due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today 4 January 2022.
