Investigators are seeking witnesses following a serious collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Gillingham.
A pensioner remains in hospital following the incident which happened on the A278 Hoath Way, near a roundabout and junction for Sharsted Way.
The collision was reported to Kent Police at 4.55pm on Tuesday 4 January 2022. It involved a black Volkswagen Golf and a woman aged in her 70s. The driver of the car, which had been travelling in the direction of Gillingham, stopped following the collision. Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene, where the woman was treated for injuries before she was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention.
