Stolen items from two Ashford stores were recovered thanks to work from the local Police Community Support Officers.
PCSOs Oli Welch and Luke Jones were patrolling on Wednesday 2 February 2022 when they stopped a suspected shoplifter who was trying to leave the store in Court Wurtin with more than £150 worth of goods.
While the suspect was being searched they also recovered meat that had been taken from a store in Kimberley Way, earlier that day.
A 42-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of theft from a shop by an attending officer and remains in custody.
