A suspect is to appear in court in connection with a robbery at a Herne Bay post office.
It was reported that a member of staff at the premises in Margate Road, Broomfield, was assaulted during the incident on Saturday 12 February 2022.
A quantity of cash was also stolen from the till.
Charged
A man from Clifftown Gardens in Herne Bay was arrested and charged with one count of robbery.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 14 February.
