Detective Inspector Sheena Barrell, of Folkestone Community Safety Team, said: ‘Kent Police is well aware of how frustrating it is for people to see this kind of damage in the town, and the impact on residents and businesses whose properties are vandalised.

‘Officers on patrol are always on the lookout for suspicious behaviour and I am pleased that their quick actions on this occasion have led to an immediate arrest.’
