An appeal for information has been issued after a large number of sheep were stolen from a field near Canterbury.

It was reported that between 6pm on Saturday 12 March and 6am on Monday 14 March 2022, fencing was damaged and a total of 44 ewes were stolen from land in Chapel Lane, Blean.

It is believed that the ewes, which were all expecting lambs, would have been loaded onto a truck and officers are appealing for anyone who saw the incident or anything suspicious in the area to come forward.
