It was reported that at around 3.20pm on Tuesday 15 February 2022, a man in his 20s was walking down a path between Clifford Road and the Crab and Winkle Way in Whitstable when he was approached by two teenage boys riding a bicycle.

The man’s arm was grabbed and held while his pockets were searched.

The man’s bank card and other cards were stolen, and the bank card was used fraudulently at a shop in Old Bridge Road shortly after.

Officers have carried out a number of enquiries and are reviewing CCTV footage.

The suspects were described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall, and wearing black puffer style hooded jackets and grey hooded tops underneath, with the hoods up and pulled tight with white drawstrings. They were also believed to be wearing dark coloured gloves. It is believed they were around 15 or 16 years old.
