Suspected burglars have been arrested by officers following a report of a break in at a former school in Minster.
Kent Police was called on 9 April 2022 at 1.51pm to a report of two people being seen attempting to break into a derelict building in Southdown Road, Halfway. A search revealed damage had been caused to a key safe.
Officers searched the area and a man aged 26 and a woman aged 25, both from Snodland, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
A search of the suspects revealed they were in possession of items including a hammer, screwdriver and other various tools. Officers further arrested the suspects on suspicion of going equipped for theft and possession of an offensive weapon.
They have since been released under investigation while officers carry out further enquiries.
