Kent Police officers are investigating after more than £39,000 in cash and two Rolex watches were seized in Folkestone.

The money was discovered on Thursday 21 April 2022 following the search of a car at the Channel Tunnel at around 8am.

Two men from Bristol, aged 34 and 38, who couldn’t account for having the large amount of money and high-value watches, were arrested at the scene.

The items were seized and both men have been released but remain under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
