Boy threatened by man with ‘knife’ in Tunbridge Wells

Kent Police investigators are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was allegedly threatened with a weapon in Tunbridge Wells.

The incident happened on Monday 28 March 2022, as the victim walked with two friends from Vicarage Road into Pennington Road.

At around 1.35pm, it is reported a man walked into the victim and then threatened him whilst holding what is described as a knife.

Description 

The suspect was white, around 18 years old, five feet and six inches tall and with brown hair. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt, a grey tracksuit and black trainers.

Police Sergeant Jonathan Hannan said: ‘Officers have been making enquiries into this incident including the examination of CCTV in the area.
‘We are now appealing for witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police and anyone else with information, to call our appeal line.
‘Drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for footage that may assist the investigation.’
