Three boys arrested after Jackson’s Field robbery in Rochester

Kent Police patrols called to a report of a robbery in Rochester promptly made three arrests.

The incident happened during the afternoon on Sunday 24 April 2022, as a man was walking across Jackson’s Field.

Man threatened and bag stolen

It is alleged he was approached by a group of people who threatened him and stole his bag.

The victim called the police and patrols searching the area arrested three teenage boys in Military Road, Chatham.

Folkestone Youth Court

A 17-year-old boy from Chatham was later charged with robbery. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 26 April where he was bailed to a hearing at Folkestone Youth Court on 9 May.

Two teenage boys who were also arrested on suspicion of robbery were released pending further investigation.
