A robbery reported to have happened in a pub toilet in Gravesend has led to a man being charged.
The victim reported that on 30 April 2022 he was followed into a toilet by a man before the offender assaulted him and robbed him of his bag which contained a mobile phone and bus pass.
Officers carried out enquiries, including reviewing CCTV and on 21 May Nigel Bundock, 39, of Freeman Road, Gravesend, was arrested in connection with the incident.
Mr Bundock was charged with robbery and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 23 May where he was remanded to appear before Woolwich Crown Court on 20 June.
