A seventh person has been arrested as part of an investigation following a disturbance in Chatham.

The 22-year-old man from Chatham was arrested on Saturday 4 June 2022 on suspicion of array.

His arrest was in connection with an incident on Thursday 26 May which saw a group of men involved in a fight at around 3pm in Chatham High Street.

All seven men were arrested on suspicion of affray. They have all since been released on police bail until various dates in June.

On Wednesday 1 June officers also arrested a 20-year-old man from Chatham and on Saturday 28 May, a 20-year-old man from Maidstone and a 20-year-old man from Chatham were also arrested.

Shortly after the incident itself, officers had arrested two men near the scene and a third man was arrested the following day, Friday 27 May. These men were all aged 20 and from Chatham.
