A large amount of cannabis has been seized following action by officers in Canterbury.
Members of the city’s Community Policing Team gained entry to the property in St Martin’s Hill on Tuesday 7 June 2022 following intelligence work.
More than 60 cannabis plants, in various stages of growth, as well as bags of harvested cannabis, were found in rooms across two floors and have been seized as part of an ongoing investigation.

Enquiries to establish the identities of those behind the cultivation are continuing.

Sergeant Lee Thompson, of Canterbury’s Community Policing Team, said: ‘The profits made from cultivation sites of this kind invariably end up in the hands of criminal groups and I am glad we have taken these drugs out of circulation.
‘I would urge anyone who believes illegal drugs may be being grown, produced or sold in their area to contact Kent Police through our website, by calling 101, or dialling 999 if a crime is in progress.’
