Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Front Road in Woodchurch, near Ashford, shortly after 4.00am this morning, 16 July, to reports of a shed and a car alight.

Two fire engines were sent and crews tackled the blaze with hose reel jets and water from a nearby hydrant.

A man suffering burns was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.

As yet he cause of the fire is unknown, KFRS report it’s believed to be accidental.
