Detectives investigating drug supply in Thanet have arrested and charged a man.

On Friday 29 July 2022, officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate carried out a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property in Ramsgate where they found cash and a large quantity of drugs, believed to be cocaine.

David Priestley, 49 from St George’s Road, Ramsgate was arrested and later charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, acquiring criminal property, transferring criminal property and possession with intent to supply a class A drug.

He appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 30 July 2022 where he was remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 30 August 2022.
