The bus had stopped near to the Westgate Towers
Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a daylight robbery on a bus in Canterbury.
At around 3pm on Wednesday 27 July 2022, a teenage boy was on the Triangle bus, which had stopped at Westgate Towers, when he was assaulted by two passengers.
The suspects left the bus after a member of the public intervened in the incident.
The victim sustained injuries which required hospital treatment and his mobile phone, AirPod headphones and glasses were stolen during the robbery.
The victim and suspects are believed to be known to each other.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the robbery and in particular would like to speak to the person who intervened.
