Kent Police is appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in Seasalter, near Whitstable.

Officers were called at 9.45pm on Thursday 4 August 2022 following a report that two men had entered a house in Lucerne Drive.

Two people were assaulted at the property before the offenders left the scene. Nothing is believed to have been stolen and no serious injuries were reported.

Officers arrested a 35-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, who are both from the Canterbury area, on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Detectives believe a small gold or yellow car, thought to be a Volkswagen Fox, is linked to the offence.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area, or who has dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage which may assist police, is urged to call 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/150867/22.
