Kent’s Chief Constable joins drugs team in Hadlow property search

Detectives investigating the supply of drugs have executed a search warrant in Hadlow accompanied by Kent Police’s Chief Constable.

The search at a property in Court Lane on Tuesday 9 August 2022, followed the seizure of around nine kilogrammes of herbal cannabis as it was being imported into the United Kingdom.

Arrest

Officers, accompanied by Chief Constable Alan Pughsley and assisted by a police dog, recovered a quantity of herbal cannabis at the address and a 36-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody.

The suspect was later released whilst investigations continue.
