A man is appearing at court following a disturbance in Sevenoaks.

At around 11.55pm on Tuesday 9 August 2022, patrols were called to Betenson Avenue where a man in his 30s was found with cuts to his upper body.

He was treated by South East Coast Ambulance Service and taken to hospital, where he was later discharged.

A man, who it is understood was known to the injured person, was arrested and taken into custody.

Officers also received reports that four vehicles had been damaged whilst parked unattended near the scene of the incident.

Grant Flowers, of Betenson Avenue, Sevenoaks was later charged with affray and possession of a knife in a public place. The 40-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 11 August.
