Dashcam footage is sought by officers investigating a collision in Chatham involving a car and several pedestrians.

The collision happened at 5.40pm on Wednesday 17 August 2022, when a silver BMW struck four people in the Dock Road area. A man, a woman and two children were treated for injuries. They were taken to a local hospital for further medical attention. None of their injuries were life threatening.

The driver of the car, a woman aged in her 30s, was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of drugs. She was taken into custody and later released pending further investigation.

Officers investigating the incident are asking drivers to check for any dashcam footage which may assist their enquires. If you have information or saw either the car or pedestrians in the moments leading up to the collision, please call Kent Police on 01634 792209 quoting reference 17-1208.
