On Wednesday 31 August 2022, officers were responding to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the Folkestone area.
They stopped it in Park Farm and following checks found it had been stolen the previous day.
Drugs
After a search of the vehicle they also found a quantity of class B drugs, along with a number of bank cards in various names.
A 23-year-old man from Dover was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug, possession of an article for use in fraud, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, theft from a motor vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle and vehicle interference.
Alcohol
A 39-year-old man from Dover was arrested on suspicion of theft from a shop, which relates to an allegation of theft of alcohol from a supermarket in Dover on 25 August. He was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug and theft of a motor vehicle.
Both men have since been released on bail.
