On the morning of Wednesday 31 August 2022, a woman in her 50s was walking along a footpath near Kimberley Way, when she was approached by a man.
The man reportedly struck the woman and stole her handbag, containing her purse.
Following an investigation by Kent Police’s Chief Constable’s Crime Squad, Stuart Olson has been charged with robbery.
The 40-year-old, of Elm Close, Ashford, appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Friday 2 September and was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 3 October.
