Tools reported stolen in Dover have been recovered and returned to their owner after a speedy response by local police officers.
On the morning of Friday 2 September 2022 officers from the Dover Victim Based Crime Team were on patrol in Marine Parade when they were flagged down and received a report of a burglary in premises in Waterloo Crescent. A number of powers tools had been reported stolen.

Following a search of the area, officers carried out a pursuit on foot and arrested a 39-year-old man from Dover who has since been released under investigation.
The missing tools were recovered nearby and returned to the victim.
