On Tuesday 6 September 2022, Police were alerted to multiple shoplifting offences from several stores in St Peter’s Street, Maidstone.
The car’s registration linked to the offenders was passed to local officers who were able to trace the vehicle.

More than £500 of goods have been swiftly recovered and two people arrested following reports of thefts from shops.
Following a pursuit, a vehicle was stopped along the A20 and the two occupants, a 31-year-old woman and a 32-year-old woman, both from London were arrested on suspicion of theft and goods were recovered.
They have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
