An arrest has been made in connection with an investigation into a theft from a vehicle in Ramsgate.
It was reported that a bicycle was stolen from within a campervan while it was parked overnight in La Belle Alliance Square, between 7.30pm on 25 July 2022 and 9am the following day.
During the morning of Thursday 22 September, officers arrested a 49-year-old man from Ramsgate on suspicion of theft from a vehicle.
As part of their enquiries, local officers also discovered a tampered electricity meter and the suspect has been further arrested on suspicion of abstracting electricity.
He remains in custody while the investigation continues.
