At around 9.50pm on Saturday 24 September 2022, the victim, a man in his 20s, was walking in the Love Lane area of the city when the incident took place.
It was reported that two people approached him and asked for his belongings before stealing his wallet.
The suspects were described as two black men, both approximately 5 ft 10 ins tall, who wore all black clothing and black balaclavas.
Officers would like to speak to anyone with information regarding the robbery or who might have private CCTV or dashcam footage in the area.
