It was reported that a BMW car was stolen while it was unattended in Morrisons car park, Bridge Street at around 4.10pm on Thursday 29 September 2022.
Seen travelling the wrong way along Charlton Green
The silver BMW 1 series car was reportedly seen travelling the wrong way along Charlton Green in Dover a short time later.
The car was later recovered and officers arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the incident. He has since been released under investigation.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the theft and may have dashcam footage or CCTV which could assist enquiries.
